Frequently asked questions
How does DogCareGH work?
You search for a verified care provider by service type and neighbourhood, view their profile and reviews, then send a booking request. Once accepted, you pay securely through the platform. After the service, you confirm it went well and the care provider is paid. Simple.
Are care providers background-checked?
Yes. Every care provider submits a Ghana Card (verified against the national database), proof of address, and two personal references before going live. Care providers offering home-based services also submit photos and a video of the space.
What areas do you cover?
We currently cover Accra and Greater Accra — East Legon, Labone, Cantonments, Spintex, Tema, Adenta, and many more neighbourhoods. We are growing, so check back if your area isn't listed yet.
How do payments work?
All payments go through Paystack — Ghana's leading payment provider. You can pay by Mobile Money, debit card, or bank transfer. Your payment is held securely until you confirm the service is complete.
What if I am not happy with the service?
Don't confirm service completion until you're satisfied. If there's a genuine problem, raise a dispute directly from your booking and our team will step in fairly. We do not release payment to the care provider until you confirm.
